This cocktail is a modern classic first created at the legendary Milk & Honey in NYC. Easy to make and, like other cocktails in its category (the Daiquiri & Bee's Knees), the Gold Rush should be considered a strong, slightly tart, and bracingly ice-cold beverage.

INGREDIENTS
• 2 oz Rieger Kansas City Whiskey
• ¾ oz Lemon
• ¾ oz Honey Syrup (1:1)
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients with ice in cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously and double strain into Rocks glass over one large cube. Garnish with flamed orange zest
