FRENCH 75

As is the story with many classic cocktails, the French 75 and its predecessors give us a little carte blanche when interpreting its ingredients. We choose to stick with the classic London dry style gin rather than cognac or brandy. Effervescent and dry as this cocktail might be, you may find yourself consuming posthaste.

Arguably the most iconic cocktail to come out of the Kansas City area. Originating from Lawrence, KS, the Horsefeather is spicy, citrusy, and perfect to enjoy throughout the entire year.

This lovely cocktail was created by Brendan Biggins, bar manager at one of our favorite bars in New York, Grand Army Bar. A take on the classic Vieux Carre with the addition of Caffè Amaro and Benedictine.

You can’t talk whiskey cocktails without tipping your cap to this legendary drink. A simple combination of the bold, oaky flavors of whiskey with the herbal, bittersweet fruits of vermouth, held in the ring by an intense spice of bitters.

MARTINEZ

The history of this cocktail is a bit fuzzy but you can be sure that this cocktail has deep roots that reach back all the way to the 1880’s. The equal proportions of dry gin to vermouth, give a brilliant blend of tea, spice, and soothing gin botanicals. Followed up with flavors of maraska cherry and orange. The slightly lower ABV and silky texture make this cocktail hard to pass up.

Inspired by a Black Manhattan, this cocktail was designed to pair Caffe Amaro and Kansas City Whiskey. Dry Curaçao, a brandy-based orange liqueur, and the sweet raisin flavor of Pedro Ximinez sherry make this cocktail quite rich and complex.

Rieger's Bottled in Bond Bourbon

The footprint of this cocktail reads similar to the classic Old Fashioned. Rich in spirit, with a touch of sweetness to round out the sharp edges. Though with the julep, it’s brought to life by a generous amount of mint; both in process and garnish. All package with crushed ice in a metal cup. Crisp, cold and refreshing to the core.
